Am I going through the beginnings of menopause?

These are symptoms of the menopause. I'm 50 years of age and I'm experiencing the same things. I have hot flushes, especially at night and have to have the radio on to try and lull me to sleep (it works). I am also quite thirsty during the night. I'm tired and have difficulty in concentrating and I can't remember people's names! You can ask you doctor for a blood test to check your hormone levels to put your mind at rest.
