What shoud I do? feel depressed?

Theres this reaaaly great girl, almost 'perfect' that i work with. dont talk to her that much but she seldom has a boyfriend. now this kids trying to get with her and they do like each other. the kids my friend btw. and he doesnt know i feel this way. i have a feeling their relationship, if one forms, will last too long, hes a bit of a spaz and they dont really go well together. i cant say anything to her right now, what should I do? he really likes her. should i wait? I dont know what to do i just know i cant keep doing this
