What is the role of the watchtower? and who writes it?
The Watchtower prints magazines with study articles that allows Jehovah's Witnesses world wide to study the same material from the Bible. Jehovah's Witnesses is a teaching organization, we teach Bible Scripture as Jesus did to his disciples and the crowds. It's about learning God's word and what it says as stated at John 17:3 And this means everlasting life, them taking in knowledge of you, the only true God and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ. The magazines are study aids that we use to learn portions of God's word. Answering at the meetings helps us to better absorb into our hearts and minds what we are learning. All articles are backed up by Scriptures that anybody can check. I believe a board of members of the remnant of the 1440,000 decide what will be studied after calling on Jehovah's holy spirit for guidance and direction.
