Are there any Democrats willing to defend Obama's continued use of the Bush era Patriot Act?

as a conservative, i have ALWAYS hated the Patriot Act, but liberals don't really know what TRUE conservatism is, so that's why most of their attacks are just made on umptions based on party names.
