Co-signer for business loan?

My friend have asked me to co-sign on a business loan because of my steady income and employment record. Trust is not an issue, however my spouse and I are both in school and have school loans. Since I have to update info with FAFSA every school year, whould the fact of having my name on a business loan affect my eligibility for school loans, as well as the interest rates on those loans?
